Barton-Sharpe was founded in 1991 with the express purpose of offering the finest reproductions of eighteenth century American furniture. We soon established a reputation as the source for a full range of authentic period style American furniture. Since then we have evolved to include French-Canadian period reproductions, and English Georgian and Regency style furniture.
We have established the ability to satisfy a very demanding clientele, which includes design professionals and antiques cognoscenti. Our store and products have been featured in numerous articles in publications, such as, Architectural Digest, Colonial Homes, House Beautiful, Town and Country, and Country Home, to name a few.
We are a rare and ready source with the experience to match our clients' needs for specific product functions and specifications, such as size, wood, and finish. We have created beautiful and functional pieces for our clients to house their specific audio/video or computer equipment as well as meet their general storage needs.
The use of solid woods, highly figured veneers, and the time-honored structural cabinetmaking techniques, such as dovetails and mortise and tenon joints, combine to make the furniture we offer a treasure to be enjoyed by you and generations to come.
